Via electrodes, NeoSID Nova detects the ECG signal and the child's breathing activity and uses Masimo SET technology for measuring oxygen saturation.

The integrated, clearly laid out LCD display offers the possibility of quickly and simply assessing physiological data and curves as well as alarm situations. Optimum monitoring requires intuitive operation - the clearly structured menu guidance makes it easy for users to access detailed alarm settings.

Using its built-in storage, NeoSID Nova is able to record long and short term trends. Statistical physiological measurement data are saved together with the corresponding dates and times. Values that fall short of or exceed the pre-set values, trigger an immediate visual and audible alarm. In this event the physioglogical parameters and curves before, during and after the event are archived and can be assessed by medical personnel directly using the NeoView readout software. NovaNet enables central capture and visualization of the current patient parameters via a separate network in the clinic's ward.
